Caithness Glass is known throughout the world for high quality Paperweights and Art Glass. Since their inception in 1961 they have taken their inspiration from the colours of the Scottish landscape - warm peaty tones, purple heather, golden sunsets, the grey blue of the lochs. In 1968 they added glass engraving to our skills and in 1969 they developed innovative techniques for producing abstract paperweights. Today, their paperweight studios in Crieff combine the finest design and traditional skills to create pieces which are entirely unique and they are now justifiably regarded as one of the world's most respected producers of museum-quality collectable glass paper weights. Caithness Glass is still flying the flag for Scottish craftsmanship and celebrating 50 years since it was first established. Since 1961 handmade creations of Caithness have become sought after by buyers and collectors all over the world.
