The earliest classic examples of an approach that combines pure minimalist form and maximum emotive impact include Contemplation by Peggy Davies, Lovers by Douglas Tootle, and Family by Eric himself. Originally modelled in glazed white bone china the range soon embraced matt black basalt - even flambé - and subsequently expanded to include Images of Nature and Figure of the Year. Images continue to be valued as gift ideas that convey the lasting ties of family and friendship
