Royal Doulton brings street art to the home. This 'Pure Evil Beautiful Things' wall plate 27cm by Pure Evil is part of a new limited edition Street Art Collection. Royal Doulton is partnering with pioneering British street artists Pure Evil and Nick walker to produce an exciting range of limited edition wall plates alongside everyday mugs and plates. Otherwise known as Charley Uzzell Edwards, Pure Evil is a descendant of Sir Thomas More, the Lord Chancellor who wrote the controversial work "Utopia" and who was later beheaded by King Henry VIII. The influence of this legendary lineage is a fundamental part of Charley's aesthetic. His "deconstructed nightmare" series taps into his exploration of a post-utopian society and has proven to be extremely popular - with almost every place having sold out. |
